To register with Abel Staff for work in the UK you need to provide us with all of the
following:
- In line with UK Asylum and Immigration Legislation, to work in the UK without a work
permit, you must be a citizen of the EU and we shall need to see and take copies
of your Passport and/or Identity Card.
- An up to date medical statement/certificate from your Doctor, stating that you are medically fit and free from any disease and able to undertake work in the UK.
- An up to date letter/certificate from your local police, stating any criminal convictions that you may hold and that you are not a wanted person.
- A passport sized photo, this can be emailed to us in JPEG format.
- Two written references from your current and/or former employers, if you can
only provide one work reference then we shall also require a written character
reference from a professional person that has known you for over 3 years and is not a member of your family.
- Provide any documents that may be required respective to your application
covering; proof of your qualifications & training, work experience and driving licences/entitlements, and that you have a good standing in your profession.
All documents must be translated into English language, we can advise you of
suitable local translators.
As well as these registration requirements you will also need to:
- Have the necessary experience, skills and qualifications for your chosen work; you may need to undertake skills evaluation tests.
- Have the appropriate level of English language skills that are required for
the position that you are applying for, you may need to undertake an English
test. Abel Staff provide fast track English language courses in some countries;
